So, I've been having fun creating other things lately...not out of paper. :) Made this wreath (below) a couple weeks ago and have another idea for a Christmas one already. The picture above, I put out in front of my house this past weekend and love it! Makes a great backdrop for pics too! I already have Christmas plans for it as well. :)
So, my husband and I have talked about things we could make that WE think would sell, so we finally decided to try it this year. We decided to get a booth at a local craft fair to sell things, so I am already busy busy making and creating (as he is as well). I'll show you some of the projects we are making in the next few weeks.
Our family is also making our Christmas presents again this year, so those are also coming as well. I think we may be nuts! With two babies??? We are asking for it! lol Hopefully we will be happy we did all this...and no worries. I'll still stamp a little here and there for stamp club. :)

Fun Fillers
Here are a few more fun filler cards I added to the tin as well. So much fun seeing all the cards in the tin together. :)
What little gril would not love this cute tiara card?
Still love this stamp set and cards with it. Soft yellows good for any baby! :)
Simple bday cards from the SIL: (Notice teh spice cake background in the first one?)
Another fun bday:
Who doesn't like monogrammed cards? :)

Turkey Quilling
Can I tell you how proud I am of this card? I don't always feel that way about every card, but I am in love with this one. I decided to try my hand at paper quilling...with turkey feathers and I absolutely LOVE the way this card came out!!! AND do you see the paper...again?! haha I'm excited to show it at stamp night tonight and have them make it too!
I have to say that between the bitty pumpkin, this turkey card, and the Day of Gratitude card...love this month's stamp projects for tonight! :) (Although...do you think they will be sick of seeing Spice Cake paper?) :)
Bitty Pumpkin'
So, here is a little #D pumpkin that we will be making tonight at our Stamp Night. I love it! SO cute and easy. I even showed you the three pieces you need to make it below:
I did sponge brown on the orange and used the Baroque set to stamp swirls on it before I assembled it. Fill it with kisses and fold it up! :) AND>...you could even make it with Designer paper...like perhaps....Spice Cake? lol
Spice Cake Fabric!
Yes, I know I am on a huge Spice Cake Kick. And there's even more than this post coming with it too. haha Well, I thought I would try using the matching fabric on a card. Love the texture it adds. So fun! I wanted to leave the rest of the card simple to bring attention to the fabric. So, here's the other variation of the Day of Gratitude card I mentioned.
So, if you want to see how I did the fabric...here is a pic before I put the card together. I just cut a strip of fabric and then handstitched along one edge and the pulled tight together to the size I wanted. Hope that makes sense. I like the loos fibers from the edges raw too.
Here are a few more fabric creations I made as well...I have a plan for them. Check back later to see what I do with them. :) I'm excited!

Day of Gratitude Variation
Remember how I referred to the number of possibilities in the last post? Well, here's another take. Love this one too...the fall colors and really the fact that you could use these cards yr round, not just for Thanksgiving. Again, used the smooch spritz on the butterflies, although I had a little help from my SIL cutting the them out.
Day of Gratitude
I love the way this card came out. The colors, stamps, everything! Spice Cake paper is my love these days!!! I absolutely love the sentiment and everything else about this new set "Day of Gratitude". I really am not meaning these last few posts as "plugs" lately. I just love the stuff! :) We are doing this card or one similar this Friday for stamp night. Think I might make another similar one and incorporate the matching fabric somewhere. Oh the possibilities!!! :) (And see the smooch spritz? Love it!)

Smooch Spritz
Have you noticed the little speckles on some of my recent cards? (The three Halloween ones had some on the orange paper, the Sympathy card I just posted earlier today had some on it as well. In fact it had two colors. One on the background and a gold on the tree. And the Love Potion bottle had some on the label, although that one was gold as well, that made it shimmer, and it is hard to catch with a camera. Very pretty though) Well, it was all from Smooch Spritz from Stampin' Up. I love this stuff! It comes in four colors and I have two right now, the gold and the brown. I love how it adds to the background of a card. And so easy, you just pump spray it where you want. Anyway-I've been having fun with it lately. :) Here's a couple close ups of where I have used it on some cards I'll be posting soon. :)
"THE" Tin
So, I keep mentioning this tin full of cards I made for a friend. I've made them before, but it's been awhile. I have to tell you about this friend. I love photography and have always been interested in it. I took a couple classes in high school and would love to take a few more...someday. I am actually hoping to within the next two years...waiting for my little ones to get just a wee bit bigger first. Anyway, she is a great photographer! She came by my house and took a few pics of my newest babe at two weeks old. Here are a couple of the pics she took. You should check out her work here or look for her on facebook as amy casas photography! (and no, she doesn't know I am making this plug) :) She is so easy and fun to work with too. Anyway, this was a thank you for her, along with a necklace pendant with two eggs in a birds nest for her two cute kiddos. She was wonderful and I am forever grateful for these great keepsake pics she took for me.
So here are a few pics she took:
ANd she took so many more cute ones too!
And here is the tin I made for her:
Sympathy
I don't have many occasions normally for sympathy cards, but I have lately and I love the way this one turned out. Soft and calming I think. I actually stamped the whole tree in Wild Wasabi green ink and then just sponged some brown ink over the top of that on the trunk of the tree. Super easy way of adding another color without markers. Another one for the tin for my wonderful friend! :)

Sets of cards
Speaking of "old" sets, here's another one for you. I have to say I still really enjoy this set and it makes the easiest cutest cards. In fact, as I made these three, I was thinking that it would be the perfect set to use to make a "set of cards" to give away as a gift to someone. So many different occasions to use! :)

September Stamp NIght #3
Last for this month's meet, we have this set of three 3x3 cards they could choose to make one from. And they are all made from...the owl punch! Sooooo very fun!
Later, I decided to put googly eyes on the ghost and I liked it so much better. I'll have to show you another pic soon. Either way though, love them all!
Close-ups:
The branch is from the bird punch and bat's wings are made with a 1 3/8 punch, scalloped circle punch and then scissors or shaped with a smaller circle punch as well (like a 1 inch punch).
Happy Halloween!!!
Welcome!
