Baptism dress

Found this dress at a resale shop several months ago, but it had a red sash and was sleeveless. Been working on it for my daughter's baptism this week. Added sleeves and a white sash. She LOVES it! Yeah for great finds and alterations and thanks to a mom that taught me basics of sewing. :)

 The sleeves were actually pretty easy to do and they had scared me. Never done that before. I ended up hand sewing them on to make them flow with the shoulders better, but they look great!

Neighborly Gift

I used this as a thank you for a friend, but it would make the cutest housewarming gift or a "Welcome to the Neighborhood" gift! I usually grab a tub or cute basket to fill as a gift, but this time thought it would be fun to grab a flower pot and fill it with fun stuff. So fun, useful (b/c we all have too many tubs and baskets half the time anyway), and personalized. I did it front and back, so they could choose what they liked. :)
