Winner and MORE!

... (better late than never right?!) of the Nativity Ornament Inserts is Jana Lyn Knittle! PM me your mailing address and I will get these in the mail to you!

I wanted to share so much more this week, but due to a semi-emergency with my son's bearded dragon, preparing for a 5K in the freezing cold tomorrow with my daughter (Brrrrr! Wish us luck...or warmth! haha) and an enormous volume of orders I have been working on, I had to slow down somewhere. But don't worry. You'll still get to see it all. Here is one little new decor I put up this week! Love it! The snowflake is actually a photography prop my parents made and are selling now. LOVE IT! I took some pics of my girls with it too, that I'll show you later.

Anyway, have a warm weekend everyone!

Unfinished Work

Working on a quick order and made this. Nothing grand, but kinda fun. :)

It's Laundry Love!

I have never had separate sorting baskets in my laundry room until now, and I LOVE it!!! I even feel like a good mom as I let my two and three year old help sort and we learn more about colors. haha! And they actually think it's fun! Plus, my bigger ones now have no excuses when they bring their separate baskets in and I just grab one and stop dumping it in the washer.
Like I said, it's
Laundry Love!

From this to that Friday-Nativity Wood chip Style!

So So So excited to share this week's From this to that Friday with you!!! I thought of this last year and never got a chance to make it until recently. All you need is some old branches cut into chips and a sharpie and a stencil. I used my vinyl to cut out and make a stencil, but you can use ANY kind of stencil! So easy!!!!

I went from this:
to:
Isn't it so beautiful and soooo simple! I literally took some wood chips, laid out my vinyl stencil on them. I tried spray painting then...didn't work so well, so I thought, why not try a sharpie and wala!
Then I just hot glued some little black ribbon to the back to make a loop to hang it from. (You can also drill holes instead, but the wood tends to crack...) Then I grabbed some twine and strung them all together! Intertwined it with a pre-lit green garland and am in love!

Maybe I should apologize for the huge amount of pics, but I wanted to show it from so many angles and so many of the nativity pieces. Just love it!

Another way you can display them is as ornaments! So easy and cute too!

So, if you are a bit handy (or your husband is) and are up for a super quick, easy, and inexpensive project this Christmas, this is for you!!!

Too pretty to take down. Guess I'll have to have Thanksgiving AND Christmas decorations up together, haha

Thursday Thankful for...fireplace mantles!

If you remember, I just moved and I am loving my new fireplace mantle. Never had one to decorate before. I didn't want to spend too much time on it though, so I just tweaked it some and kept some from my previously shown fall mantle. Love the orange and blues and somehow the birds all worked together too!

Still love this quote, so of course I had to include it!
I also wanted to make a garland or banner of some sort and this one was soooo easy. Started and finished it in about an hour. Don't worry! I took pics so I could make a tutorial. :)

 Now, it's almost time to change it again. Just wait to see what I have planned for Christmas! {wink wink}

My Mini Library

Ever since we moved from TX this summer, we have not had enough bookshelves...You know how moving is...you run out of room at the end and leave things behind that you wish you had once you are in the new house! Well, we left two or three sets of bookshelves and I have missed them!

Thanks to my ever so willing and helpful husband, we now have a new set tucked at the end of the kids hallway. So they have their own little library!

I think it turned out fun and inviting, how about you?
And of course this piece had to go on top, although I do think I would like a world map behind it better. Either way, love this and the book "Oh! The places you Go" By Dr Seuss together on top!

Wall of Gratitude

I have tons of fall decorations, some Halloween, but very little Thanksgiving. I used to have a little set of pilgrims, but then my kids broke the head off of one. Sound a little familiar? No? Just my house huh? hahaha

Well...Remember the Thanksgiving subway art I just showed you? Well, what I didn't tell you was I made it specifically for another item I just made...To hang this super simple and cute Thankful banner from. The banner just didn't fit right on anything else I had so I grabbed this old cupboard door and thought it was just the right size! I grabbed some paper, baker's twine, a little glue, a punch or two, and a set of alphabet stamps from PSA and started putting it all together. Simple, not too time consuming and so cute!

Love it all together! Makes me smile and truly feel thankful for all my blessings. #thanksgivingdecor#needmore #psastampsworkawesome
