Seasons of Life and My New Announcement!

Well, if you follow me on Facebook or on Instagram, these pictures will look familiar to you. AND it will explain why my posts have been a bit fewer and further in between lately. haha

As we took the picture above, the kids were wondering why there was an extra pumpkin, but my oldest daughter caught on really quick. haha

I had to make some adjustments to my apron that I wear every year on Halloween this year. Ha!

Yep, the first trimester monster has hit me full force and I have been in survival mode the last few weeks. It's made me think a lot about seasons of life and how we all go through different seasons and how we are only capable of doing so much within that season. That doesn't mean that we are doing anything wrong, or lacking in any way, it's just life. In fact, one day as I was feeling pretty useless, my husband had just finished washing the huge mountain of dishes that was in the sink and he told me, "I did ALL the dishes!". This is kind of a standing joke between the two of us, because he DOES help a lot around the house, but he tells me what he does just to get me riled up for fun and then I tell HIM everything I DID that day too. Well, I looked at him, thinking that I hadn't done diddly squat in days it seemed and responded, "Well, I'm growing a baby." We both laughed and he said, "Well, I can't compete with that!" Me: "Nope. You can't." Ha!

Anyways, sorry for the break in posts. It's about seasons though for all of us. I love creating still and love blogging, but I also love my family and most of the energy that I have had lately has gone to them. No worries though. I'm still here and am not going anywhere.
