If you like banana bread and chocolate, you'll love these soft, moist banana chocolate chip cookies! They're a favorite at my house. They are more cake or bread like than a gooey cookie, but soooo good!
Try them out!
Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients/Instructions:
Cream together:
2/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
Mix separately:
1/3 cup evaporated milk
(or any kind of milk. I actually used almond milk this time.)
2/3 cup ripened bananas (about 2 ripe...the browner, almost the better!)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix the above two mixtures together. Then add the following and mix again.
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Add chocolate chips.
Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes. Enjoy!
