My daughter decided she wanted one of those cute personalized lunch tote bags recently. After looking for some online, I found one on clearance in a store for under $10! Much better price! And more fun for me to get to decorate and personalize it myself too! Of course I was all for that! ;)
So, here's what I found at the store. Cute! Love the quilted design, but will be even better after I dress it up a bit!
First, we designed her monogram on my Silhouette Designer Studio software, and added a few cute chevron stripes (per her request). Then we were ready to roll! We cut out the vinyl on the Silhouette. Then I peeled off the back of the Heat Transfer Vinyl (I used Siser brand for this from USCutter.)
Make sure and pull the plastic lining out of the bag. (The iron would NOT be good for this!)
Figured out the placement on the bag...
And we were ready to iron it on. Yep! It's just that easy!
Love Love LOVE the outcome! Simple and still fun with what she wanted most. Chevron and personalized with her monogram.
If you don't have access to Heat Transfer Vinyl, you can always order a custom one on etsy, OR you can use sharpies and print out a design to trace too!
So cute and easy! What's your favorite project you have seen or made with Heat Transfer Vinyl?
